Elizabeth Quinn
Elizabeth has a BFA in Studio Arts from the University of Arizona with a focus on Painting and Drawing. She has won numerous awards and recognition in local and national exhibitions, including “Best in Show” in Arizona Edges National show from Robert Burridge. In the past few years, Elizabeth was invited to be Artist in Residence at Kalani Oceanside Retreat in Hawaii; Mendocino Arts Center Artist in Residence; an Exhibiting Artist in Arizona Fine Arts Expo in Scottsdale, AZ. and Exhibiting Artist in Scottsdale's Waterfront Festival.
Elizabeth was born in Chicago, IL. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, India, New Zealand, Australia and the U.S. Her travels inspired her excitement for the beauty and bounty inherent in all people, cultures and environments. Her paintings exude a passionate interpretation of the mystical, intangible secrets of our beliefs and realities from many diverse cultures that influence and color our temporal existence.
She continues to evolve her creative visual and literary voice using the mediums of acrylics, collage and oils in her paintings and mixed media journals and considers her style a form of “Mystical Expressionism”. Elizabeth's extensive background in Alternative Healing methods and techniques has also greatly influenced her creative expressions.
